The wave
Speedies is the last section of the G-Land reef, and the fastest, shallowest and hollowest. When Money Trees connects on a solid swell and a lowish tide, it ends here as a square barrel over coral you can see through the face.
Rides last a few seconds. You either take off here or arrive at full speed from further up the reef, and the reef is very close. Even the best tube riders in the world come out of here with cuts.
It needs 6ft or more of SW swell, SE trades, mid to low tide and a lot of experience on shallow reefs. Bring more than one spare board and think about a helmet.
