The wave
Launching Pads is at the top of the G-Land reef, where the bigger sets first stand up. The drops are steep and sudden and throw you into the long wall of Money Trees at full speed.
On big days this is where the longest rides start, the ones that go from Pads through Money Trees and into Speedies. The peak moves with the swell direction, so sitting in the wrong place means missing the set or getting caught by it. Watch where the regulars sit.
It holds more size than the rest of the upper reef. On real days you'll want a 6'6" to 7'0".
