Getting to Tifnit & Aglou and around Aglou & Sidi Ifni

Agadir (AGA) is the airport. Tiznit is about 1.5 hours south, and Sidi Ifni another hour beyond.

  • Rental car ($25-40/day): The only practical way to reach Tifnit, Aglou and the empty beaches. Fill up in Tiznit; some villages have no fuel.
  • CTM / Supratours bus ($5-10): Intercity buses along the N1 and the coast road. Buses don't stop at the beaches; you'll need a taxi for the last part.
  • Grand taxi ($3-15): Shared taxis between the towns. They leave when full; mornings are busiest.

Booking: Rarely needed, though Mirleft and Sidi Ifni have only a few places to stay.

Money: Take cash from Tiznit or Agadir. Villages have no ATMs.

Health: You're far from help at most spots, so surf with someone and know your limits.

Avoid: Don't count on renting a board here. Bring your own.
