The wave
Jimmy's Point is between Krui town and Tanjung Setia, named after one of the first people to settle on the coast. It's a long left over friendly reef that breaks in sections, and most people drive straight past it.
It works at 3-8ft with E-SE winds in the morning, and a good ride links two or three sections. Sometimes it covers up on the right banks, but mostly it's a wave for turns. The takeoff is relaxed.
No camp faces it, so there's usually space; often it's just a couple of locals. Pull off the coast road and paddle out. A shortboard or mid-length both work.
